Hi, I’m Sue Bonzell with Terra Firma Global Partners in Sebastopol, California. I have to tell you a story about these amazing ladies that I met at an open house several weeks ago. We really connected, they were such sweet ladies, they had just inherited a home and they were trying to decide if they were going to sell, if they were going to rent, and if they were going to do either of those, what kinds of things they would need to do to the home to prepare it for either sale or rent. And we really connected and I really felt like I wanted to help them and provide that information for them. So, I did go and meet with them, did go through the house, gave them some great suggestions whether they were going to sell or rent, and came back to them with a comparative market analysis, just so they had an idea of what the home was worth in the current market.
It was just so great to be able to talk to them and be able to help them, even though I kind of knew in my heart that they were probably just going to rent, and that was okay with me because these were some wonderful ladies that I really connected with and we shared some really great stories together. I shared some pretty heart-felt stories about my childhood and growing up and kind of the reason why I do what I do. I think that making these connections is the most important thing that I can do for just people in my community. These people are not going to be clients, maybe not right now, but it was really just so meaningful for me to be able to connect with them on a really deep personal level. I absolutely love what I do.
