This begins a difficult time of year for me. I am afflicted with FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). This ailment causes me to hyperventilate and become anxious when I think I am missing out on something really great. The problem with this time of year is that there are so many great events that I want to attend, but alas, I cannot do them all!

Take this Sunday for example: I’ll go to the Forestville Fire Department’s annual Pancake Breakfast and see all my old pals, then cruise over to the 4-H ChickenQue to relive old memories of when I was in 4-H, then go to the St. Baldrick’s event to watch people get their head shaved while having a beer. But I will have to forgo A Day Under the Oaks, which I used to love when I was at SRJC.

So sharpen your pencil and bust out your social calendar….it’s about to get FILLED!     ~SUE
